Amazing Kentong Resort FAQ
Q. IS THERE HEATER AVAILABLE AT THE HOTEL?
No, it is not available. However, due to the weather, heater is not necessary for the most part of the year. Instead, air-conditioning is provided for our guests to cope with the heat.
Q. ARE THERE TRADITIONAL BUFFALOS AND COWS’ MARKET?
The market is no longer in existence
Q. ARE THERE ANY HOT SPRINGS NEAR THE RESORT?
Yes, there is a hot spring named “Mya Shwe Yi Hot Spring”. It will take around 15 minutes by car from the resort.
Q. ARE THERE TREKKING SERVICES AT THE RESORT?
Yes, it is available on request at the hotel reception. There are several tracks that is located around Kengtong. We recommend “Pin Tauk”, which is located 10 miles from our resort, taking around 1 hour to reach there by car. This trek will take you towards the mountain for beautiful sceneries. If you want to trek towards tribal villages, there is Wan Nhyat and Wan Hlyan villages, which takes around 2 hours by car to reach the tracks.
Q. ARE THERE ANY TOURIST ATTRACTIONS NEAR AMAZING KENG TONG RESORT?
Yes, there are several tourist attractions near the resort. The main attractions are listed as follow :
- The Town Main Door. About 20 minutes far from hotel by walking.
- Old Graveyard. About 10 minutes far from hotel by walking.
- The Naung Pha Town Door. About 20 minutes far from hotel by walking.
- The Par Li Yan Town Door. About 20 minutes far from hotel by walking.
- Naung Tong Kan (Naung Tong Lake). It is just near our resort and only 5 minutes by walking.
- Thit Da Pin Taung since King Alaunghpaya, is located in the down town and about 20 minutes far from hotel by walking.
Q. WHAT SERVICES ARE INCLUDED IN THE ROOM PRICE?
The price shown on our website includes pay for your accommodation, which includes daily breakfast, service charge, and government tax.
Q. IS THERE AIRPORT TRANSFER SERVICE AT THE RESORT?

Q. WHICH ID PROOFS ARE ACCEPTED AT THE HOTELS?
Please kindly show your passport/ government issued ID in order to prove you are the person who made the booking.
Q. CAN I CHECK-IN AT A EARLY TIME THAN THE HOTEL CHECK IN TIMING?
Early check-in depends on the in-house guest’s check-out on this day. If there are no guests checking out early on this particular day, we cannot prepare the room for you in time as we can only request the guest to check out at 12:00 PM. However, if we have vacancy on that day, we will be able to check you in early for your convenience. As we try to achieve customer satisfaction, we try to fulfill all the needs of our guest, but it all depends on the occupancy and early guest check out. Q. CAN I CHECK-OUT AT LATER TIME THAN THE HOTEL CHECK OUT TIMING?
Late check-out depends on arriving guest check-in during the day. If there are guest arriving on this particular day, a late check-out would not be possible. However, if there are no guest arriving, we will be able to give you some extra hours during your stay. Please kindly send a request to onlinesale2@amazing-hotel.com.
Q. CAN I LEAVE MY LUGGAGE AT THE HOTEL, BEFORE CHECK-IN OR AFTER CHECK-OUT?
Yes, our hotel will be more than happy to assist you at our concierge service. Please kindly send a request to onlinesale2@amazing-hotel.com and we will be more than happy to help you. However, please note that the hotel will not be liable for any loss or damage caused by leaving your luggage at the hotel.
Q. HOW CAN WE REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL BEDS/COTS IN THE ROOM?
Additional beds can be requested for an extra cost by sending a request to onlinesale2@amazing-hotel.com. The additional baby cots is free of charge, however, due to limited quantities, please send a request to onlinesale2@amazing-hotel.com to confirm the service during your stay.

Q. WHAT IS THE MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY OF A ROOM?
The maximum occupancy of a room is three adults (or) two adults and two children under 12 years. The first children under 12 can stay for free, however, 1 extra bed is required if there are 2 children.
